Anna's adventures
When I was pregnant with Whitley, she was very active. After she was born, she still seemed to be very active. So when Anna was docile in utero, I assumed that she would be docile after she was born. WRONG! She was just resting up! In the month and a half that we've been in Mississippi, Anna has discovered the knife drawer, stuffed crayons down the vent, learned to remove the vent cover and unlock doors. A few weeks ago, she discovered where my mother had put out rat poison (did not ingest and it was in what should have been a "safe place") and this morning she climbed the shelf in the bathroom all the way up to the medicine box (it's a 7 ft shelf). I can't keep a diaper on her without one piece footed pjs or onesies and she's just about figured how to take those off. She loves hiking in the pasture, riding her tricycle and flying her kite. She plays with puzzles and likes to "read". One would think she'd have enough playing to do that these other adventures wouldn't happen. Whitley never got into all of this trouble. Whitley obeyed. Other than coloring books, puzzles, bubbles, books, babies and TV, does anyone have suggestions for keeping this little one busy and out of trouble? She's wearing me out!
